Daniella Qureishi

Daniella Qureishi LCAT, CLAT, ATR-BC is Licensed Creative Arts Therapist in New York, Connecticut Licensed Art Therapist, and Nationally Board Certified Art Therapist. She has been working in the therapy field since 2016. She founded PsyArts to promote mental health awareness and creativity in 2019. She has expanded to facilitating non-clinical creative wellness events (including art and writing). In addition, she has experience in mental health counseling (both with traditional talk &/or non-verbal through expressive means like art and journaling. She works with clients for individual therapy and group therapy.

She is also well versed in presentations, written publications, workshops, and graphic design. Her technique is person-centered, guiding individuals to explore their past, present, and future narratives to foster introspection, resilience, and growth.

History: She graduated and received her Masters in Creative Arts Therapy Counseling with high distinction (summa cum laude) in 2020.

She was part of St. Vincent’s Hospital in Westchester, NY, starting in 2018, starting as an intern and progressing to a counselor and then as a licensed mental health therapist. She worked in the outpatient day program, which is PROS-based, with adults of various ages and diagnoses. She facilitates art therapy and traditional talk therapy within individual and group sessions.

She is a published author who delved into the connection between mania and creativity.
