By defining who you are, you don’t discover a land, a person or external thing. You are discovering yourself. Once you can define who you are, you don’t need the crutch of ruminating about what others think.
You discover yourself and become friends with yourself when you introspect. You become relentless after your dreams. You can become more aware of what you want out of life. Self awareness helps us live a life with purpose because we can take actions that motivate us. When we take actions that motivate us, we can grow and overall feel more satisfied with our life.
